Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public broad access to court records, subject to limits in the Kentucky Open Records Act and court-specific confidentiality rules. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. In Graves County, the Circuit Court Clerk handles Circuit Court and District Court records, including felony, civil, family, traffic, misdemeanor, probate, and small-claims matters routed through the Kentucky Court of Justice. The County Clerk handles land records, marriage licenses, elections, motor vehicles, and local county records. The Sheriff and jail handle separate law-enforcement, custody, and jail-record channels. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee notes, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
